Terrain
Woodland with clear dirt track can get pretty muddy in some spots so worth getting those boots out.
Safety
Doesn't involve any road crossing however the track is very occasionally used but some vehicles. That being said I've never seen a vehicle using it. It's also worth noting that at the very start there is a train train track about 150m off the path. No idea if it's still a live track but its just worth being aware of.

As you drive down to the end of Beeley Wood Lane you’ll notice the abbey steel works, about 30 metres before you reach their car park on the right you’ll see a public footpath sign along side some large boulders.
This is the start of the walk
As you follow this path up towards the stairs, with the fence on your right you’ll reach a small bridge. Continue through.
This is where the train track is. Despite the tracks not being to close there is no fence separating the woods to the tracks so please be cautious.
As you wander along the tree lined path you’ll come across a T-junction,
Turn left to continue along this route
Right will bring you back to near where you started.
You’ll eventually reach a bend followed by another T.
Left will take you toward outibridge, wharncliffe woods, wheat woods and grenowoods. (More on these another time)
Take the right turn, you’ll now be heading back to the start.
When the track starts to veer right the smaller track ahead is the one you want to follow.
Follow the path as it bend to the right,
Shortly followed by a left (far left)
It will take you down a short but steep decline and wind back to the bride near where we started.
